Also, gambling costs in LV are offset by free drinks, so since OR doesn't allow free drinks, the slots should be looser than LV. If the slots didn't seem WAY tight in the non-smoking area, this would be a 5* casino for Oregon. Bottom-line: Oregon casinos still have nothing on Vegas however, compared to other OR casinos the enclosed non-smoking area & drinks on the floor were pluses. When in the smoking area for about an hour, I could breathe, but we still stunk like cigarette smoke when we left. We cashed out & went to the smoking area slots and had a more typical experience of small wins mixed with the losing rounds. The less than 5* stuff: the slots in the non-smoking area were terrible - usually you win a little, lose a little, but on the slots we played in here it was round after round of losing. The 5* stuff: a fully-enclosed non-smoking slot area looks nice, new & clean I have asthma & I could still breathe despite many people smoking in the casino you can order drinks (for $) on the casino floor lots of options for free non-alcoholic beverages.
